About Dyanne
Award winning author, Dyanne Davis lives in a Chicago suburb with her husband Bill, and their son Bill Jr. She retired from nursing to pursue her dream of becoming a published author.
An avid reader, Dyanne’s love of the written word turned into a desire to write. Her first novel, The Color of Trouble, was released July of 2003. It won her an Emma Award for Favorite New Author of the year.
Since then she’s released ten more novels. Her first novella, “A Continental Divide,” part of, The Lotus Blossom, Book 2 , is due out December 08. Dyanne has been a presenter of numerous workshops. She hosts a local cable show in her hometown to give writing tips to aspiring writers.
Dyanne also writes a vampire series. Her first, In the Beginning was released in June of 2007 under the name of F. D. Davis. The second, In Blood We Trust will be released in November of 2008. She’s currently at work on the third, which is due out next summer.
